Fighting to Breathe Book Review

I love Aurora Rose Reynolds and the books that she's written so it was obvious that I had to read her newest baby Fighting to Breathe. In the beginning Lea Lamb and Austin Wolf had the perfect life together. They're getting married and talking about a future together until they come home from a night out and Lea learned that her Father was killed in a fishing accident. Afraid that the same fate were to happen to Austin, because he's a fisherman as well, she runs from her hometown not coming back after fifteen years. Lea comes back into town because of the declining health of her mother. She wanted to avoid Austin at all cost but when your in a very small town it's quite impossible to be incognito. Austin learns of Lea's return and has some very harsh words for her that left her speechless, but realizing that her mother is dying and she would be alone he wanted to befriend until she decides to leave town again and they could have closure. After spending a lot of time together they soon discovered that their feelings towards each other is undeniable and they explore their love again. I love this second chance romance and the ups and downs that they had to overcome in their relationship. Aurora did it again with this one that I read this in one sitting! Priest Book Review

Forgive me Father, for I have thoroughly enjoyed this deliciously sinful book. This is from Father Tyler Bell's POV which I enjoyed. You don't read much about the male' POV these days so it was a nice change. This story is about Father Bell and his temptations of Ms. Poppy Danforth. Poppy came in like the sheep herding to find it's shepherd to 'confess' her sins and find religion but found Father Bell who quickly was intrigued by her..so his dilemma. He likes her and wants to do every naughty thing to her but he has a vow to God to keep. This story was very detailed on why Tyler joined the Priesthood and his reasoning on that why...even when his family disapproved with his choice. Poppy comes in every so often to talk to Father Bell about the Catholic religion and spoke of her confessions to him. More and more Father Bell wanted Poppy but the temptation of having her became too strong for him to handle. I'm not going to spoil this book for you but the affair that they have are so damn hot and the scene on the alter...just trust me when I say you have to read for yourself. Tyler does struggle with choosing his church and his love for Poppy and he's willing to sacrifice one to fulfill his happiness. Priest was an outstanding book that you have to read!  

The Virgin Duet Book Review

I discovered this amazing author by fluke and so glad I did! The Virgin Duet was an amazing short story about two VIRGINS; Yes I said 2 virgin. One being a a sharp tongue, no non-sense, purple and pink haired woman named Rebecca and the other is a Billionaire named Bray Spencer.
Rebecca works at a coffee shop and the highlight of her work day is seeing a man she dubs Mr. Vanilla until he comes in to her workplace with another woman and insults her behind her back, unbeknownst of Rebecca overhearing them. So what does the brazen woman do? Makes his visits at the coffee shop miserable to the point where she gets fired and what she does next is go to his office half naked and demands him an explanation for getting her fired. Rebecca demands that he finds her another job because it was his fault that she was fired...I guess he didn't say what she wanted so she offered up her virginity which made Bray upset. Bray Spencer likes her and felt bad that she had gotten fired so he offered her a job being his cook and housekeeper. Little did Rebecca know that Bray is overly OCD and has a past that made him to he is today. A Billionaire and  a Virgin. Bray is a virgin for a reason and that reasoning made him live a recluse life. I felt for Bray and his circumstances and fears but it all blew out the water because of his Fairy. She is the opposite of what he is and it's true what they say: Opposite does Attract. Their relationship is a constant roller coaster with both of Rebecca and Bray's past and each of their insecurities. I guess you have to read to find out. I really really enjoyed this book and hope to goodness that you've read it more than twice like I did!
