Loving Kyla Review

After I read and fell deeply in love with Michelle Hardin's Dangerous Beauty series I wanted to read more of her books. Lo and Behold I found Loving Kyla and I completely loved this love story. Kyla McCall is a foster kid who became a lawyer despite her hardships while growing up. After finding out her fiancee cheated on her and impregnated another woman, Kyla kicked his cheating ass out after a long and drone out argument. Finally free of this her feelings for Eric Rhodes, known also as the Boston Prince are now out in the open; little does she knows Eric has feelings for her since they were in college. I love a sickening romance story and this is one of those stories that I devoured in one day. I particularly love the characters and how they fought through the diversity they faced everywhere they went. Their love for each other conquered all. Michelle Hardin is my new favorite author! I loved Loving Kyla!

Rebuilding Stone Book Review

This went live yesterday and I devoured it! I absolutely loved loved this book and love T Saint John even more. I love Maddox and Kerrigan's story and Ms. Saint John wrote them so well. I especially love the Stone family dynamics. Kerrigan is a brave woman and Maddox is such a protector and I'm so in love with this couple. This book has it all drama, romance, suspense especially those last chapters towards the end where your screaming WTF at a character that I would never thought I would see in a different light. And a good ole cliffhanger at the end..how I love those. I really can't wait for Evan and Lani's story. Write faster please Ms. Saint John!!

Hold Me Book Review

It's been two days and I'm still in a book coma. Hold Me was a fantastic book that I couldn't put down and hated myself for finishing too quickly. This is the third series of the Twist Me series. I don't know what to do without Julian and Nora but rejoiced when Anna Zaires announced that she's writing books with them as secondary characters. This story left off with Nora recovering from a traumatic experience that's causing her to have severe panic attacks and nightmares while Julian recovering from his serious injuries and dealing with Nora at the same time. The only way Julian can help with Nora's situation is by what he knows best. I love Julian and his sadistic ways but something was different about this book. He's letting myself become more in touch with his feelings instead of ignoring them. Especially when --Spoiler--....Nora and Julian's relationship was a constant roller coaster during this book. With Julian's over obsessive ways and Nora thinking that she's no more than a kidnapped prisoner to him it frustrates me that either of them took the time out and tell each other how they really felt. There were parts of the book where it broke my heart into a million little pieces for Nora and especially Julian but it rebuild again when the actually sat down and communicated said feelings. This book had everything..just when you think that all is well...BAM...something else happens. The ending was perfect conclusion to the well written book. I really really enjoyed this book and hoping to get over this book coma. Anna Zaires ruined me for other books. Not like I really mind!

L.A. Casey's Kane Book Review

What can I say about Kane? Uh, A LOT!!! Kane is by far my most favorite Slater Brother thus far. L.A. Casey did an amazing job writing and I love the way she describe the family dynamics. This story began where Keela left off. Who is pregnant? And what's really Kane's ailment. I was on edge when we were left with that awful cliffhanger about Kane and waited on pins and needles to find out what happened. Anyways, digressing. The reasons why I love Kane is because to others Kane is that person you stay away from because of his scars but deep down Kane is not the man behind those scars. I love Aideen due to the fact that she's a strong heroine in this book. She's independent, no-non-sense kinda gal and I love that about her. She sees and loves Kane beyond his scars. There were some emotional moments shared between Aideen and Kane that had me teary eyed and of course funny moments, brought to you by the Slater brothers. We also learned about what Kane went through when he was Marco's Mercenary..it's also the reason why I love Kane so much. The saying, 'Don't Judge a Book by it's Cover' was written about Kane. I enjoyed reading this book. I laughed, cried and aww'd. There were some more surprises at the end and L.A. Casey left us with a huge cliffhanger again!!! And the question that's blasting through my head is: What the ever loving Hell is going on with Ryder and Branna? I can't wait for Aideen! Ms. Casey? Write faster please!!
