I legit screamed at 2 in the morning because Ms. Franchette Phal herself posted a new teaser for her 2nd book to Flawed called Carnage. This not the official cover. We absolutely loved the book Flawed and Knox Bishop and his eff'd up ways but we love him so much he became our top 5 Psycho Book Boyfriends we need in our lives. I've been waiting for this book since Flawed ended. There is no date available yet but we hope that it's soon! If you hadn't read Flawed...where have you been??? Living under a rock? Get the reading!

Dmitry's Closet Review

An interracial novel by Latrivia S. Nelson about the virginal Royal Stone who is down in the dumps and with the last dollar she went to a restaurant and met a 7 foot tall Russian named Dmitry Medlov. Dmitry is smitten by Royal that he offered her a job to work at his shop and move into the upstairs apartment. Royal is independent heroine that I admire in this book, she's very hard-working and she's very naive in some ways. Dmitry would shower Royal with diamonds...little did Royal knows that Dmitry is head of the Medlov Organized Crime aka The Russian Mafia. After months of flirting, gift giving and kisses on the forehead they finally have a relationship that Royal always wanted and dreamed of. Royal's being clueless about what Dmitry really is kinda blows my mind and reminds me of the old saying Love is Blind and it really truly is. When Royal finally finds out who Dmitry Medlov is all HELL breaks loose and there is a War between him and someone in his past that wants to kill him and hurt Royal. It's the ultimate test in their relationship and you gotta read it to find out the end results. Next in this series is Dmitry's Royal Flush: Raise of the Queen

Taming Val Review

This is an interracial story by Trevion Burns about a man named Valentin Romanovsky who is a playboy man that became a multi-millionaire overnight was told by his doctor that he will become infertile by the time he hits 30 years old and Zoey Black who was orphaned and taken by the Romanovsky's. It seemed like throughout their childhood Val hated Zoey and would make her know that she is by any means no sister of his. Getting this news from his doctor he literally has no time to find a woman that will carry his child but Zoey volunteers even though she hates children due to the fact of her situation. Their relationship became hot one minute then frigate the next but in the end Val finally came to his decision. There is some twists in turns in this book that got my jaw dropping to the floor and can't wait for Roman Romanovsky's story.

Bound by Hatred Review

If you want a good Mafia Romance then look no further and pick up the Bound in Blood Mafia Chronicles series. This is the 3rd of the series and you must read the first two to keep up. I couldn't wait to read about Gianna and Matteo's story. I absolutely love Gianna and she is by far my most favorite heroine. Despite her sheltered life she is very opinionated, independent, and she knows what she wants and go gets it. Matteo 'The Blade' Vitiello is on my top 5 of my Psycho Boyfriends that I need in my life. He is the total opposite of his complete asshole of a brother, Luca. He is pure dominate and is very protective of what's his, he gets what he wants and what he wants is Gianna but Gianna doesn't feel the same way. So she plans on running away from the life that she always hated and her sister Aria helped her. I love the family dynamics that the Scuderi's siblings have for one another. You could clearly see how much close-knit family they are despite their ass of a father. Gianna runs away to Munich, little did Gianna know Matteo, being the best hunter is hunting her. Nothing goes well when Matteo and two of her father's soldiers find her with her boyfriend. Despite her pleas they kill her boyfriend and she's brought back to Chicago to face her father. I hated Gianna's father and her mother is a meek submissive woman who doesn't have a backbone to help her daughters. During the reminder of the story you could see the compassion and chemistry that Gianna has for Matteo but she so stubborn to recognize it and Matteo is doing everything in his power to make her realize that she's happy with him in this so-called life that she hates. It's only when something near fatal happens that she realizes how much she really cares. I absolutely love this book and actually took my time in reading Bound by Hatred. I loved the way it ended and waiting on pins and needles on Bound by Temptation!
